Interesting choices …….

2 of them are theft from savings accounts
4 of them are attacks on the Medical profession

I predict that the next round of "blame" for ObamaCare is going to be directed against Doctors & the Medical profession.

It will rise from the refusal to accept Medicare. Even my Republican brother-in-law supports flooding the nation with foreign doctors. He's been one of those strict 9-5 workers, makes a comfy living, and wants the very best for his kid. He doesn't think it's fair people like me bypass the system and use my HSA to get concierge care for our daughter. The bitter class envy of doctors is now becoming bipartisan. He has been vocal about forcing doctors to accept Medicare. But then again, he supports banning gay marriage so he's pretty universal in his attack on freedoms.

Scary times indeed.

You left out payroll tax hikes.

That is what Vermont is going to do.
20% payroll tax hike…9% on the employee and 11% on the employer.
This is in addition to the current payroll taxes.

You want single payer then be prepared to pay for it via a min of 10% increase in your FICA taxes.

Vermont can do whatever the citizens of Vermont support - I've always been in favor of States having a choice of trying whatever they think will work for them, that the residents of that State support. A one size fits all 'plan' that is Crammed Down on the entire country without a single vote from the Republican party, is doomed to failure. Particularly when we have such an incompetent bunch attempting this endeavor.

As to single payer ……. the odds that this country is going to allow the CongressCritters in Washington D.C. impose another massive overhaul of our Medical system in the future are ….. SLIM, and NONE.

It will take another filibuster proof Leftist majority to do this again, and even that might fail.

What are you willing to do to make SP come true?

This poll is only meant for those who support Single Payer and are willing to allow 1 or more of these things to happen.
Going to Single Payer would save so much money, we could make a serious dent in our Debt.

LOL at your silly list of choices.

I support a single payer option. I would fund it via payroll taxes and let the IRS distribute funds to it like they do everything else regarding the payroll tax.

We would no longer have to pay monthly premiums and it could be automatically withheld via the W-4 form that we fill out for employment. This would also remove the burden of healthcare from employers and would give them more funds to work with.
