Yes, blame AGW. Now we have the coldest temp ever recorded on earth. This "pause" in Global Warming is killing us!!!!!! We should all burn more coal so we can get our warm temperatures back.

A new look at NASA satellite data revealed that Earth set a new record for coldest temperature recorded. It happened in August 2010 when it hit -135.8 degrees. Then on July 31 of this year, it came close again: -135.3 degrees.

Cold dis-comfort: Antarctica set record of -135.8

Sigh, this is created using a satellite for a place we have no historical data on. Imagine that...

So NASA can tell us the average temperature of the world for the past thousand years but cannot measure the temp at one spot?

Yes, imagine that.

I'm sure you cannot imagine any climate data that does not fit your bias.

heh, heh....That lack of "historical evidence" you cite did not stop the alarmists from proclaiming that the earth was warming, though, did it? But, now, when evidence shows a cold earth, you claim that it had never been measured before. So, how did you know it was getting warmer?
*sigh*, yourself.

ESSA and NOAA polar orbiting satellites were established in the late 1960's.

Sigh. we DO have temperature data for a lot of other places.

Odd thing-no one even establishes a base at the coldest place on the freaking planet apparently. I can't imagine why...

yes in the 1960's, now tell me when that place had good temperature data taken at it?

Seriously im tired of these foolish:
global warming deniers
Birthers
and 9/11 conspiracy posts.

Now...might one of these be right? Sure! and I might win the lottery tomorrow and be hit by a car right afterwards! Guess what? Im not going to spend any time tonight worrying about either. Because they are both just as likely.

Wouldn't that be kind of important to establishing "global" temperature? Why would you not count a place because it's too cold? That in itself is a problem with the science - we're examining global warming but we don't count the very cold places, and if you question it, you're anti-science. Establishing the average temperature of the planet is kind of like establishing the average phone number.

The Flat Earth Society believes AGW is a catastrophic threat. JUst like the experts told us the world was flat way back when.
