But the OP says the "right-wing" loves Putin, and you say Putin is still a hard-line communist from the old days of the USSR. Which is it? He cannot be both a communist and loved by the "right-wing."
Dictator Putin could never win an election fairly and squarely in Russia, but we have right wingers that would lick his boots clean right here in the USA...too funny.
...and this dictator is a hero of the American right wing.
All of the communist dictators run their countries in this fashion, including Putin and obama...
Why don't you approve of Putin, you worship the American dictator..??
You must have been blinded by your love for Put in when every right winger in here was swooning over him and wishing he was our president instead of Obama.
Given the choice between the two communists you mention, Putin would be the obvious choice.
Putin tightens Kremlin controls over US-backed/funded media
....there...fixed it for you.

He was elected.....like Obama.....so then you won't mind if I call Obama a dictator.
I like Putin. He stands up to the US and encourages the non-Aligned States like Serbia and India et al to stand up to American and stop being steam-rolled for resources so American can continue the quest to become Borg-like Locusts and consume everything on Earth all-the-while-screaming Population Control!
Geo-politically...
