Is anyone watching the memorial service for Mandela now? I don't get why there are so many people in the background who are cheering, smiling, dancing and mugging for the camera like they were at a soccer match rather than at a funeral service. Can these people not stay quiet and be respectful even when someone is being laid to rest??
Pretty much the only people who act like they are at a funeral are the foreigners.

This is not a funeral, it's a celebration of a person's life.

You wouldn't like the funerals I preside over, many times we have laughter. I believe it is better to celebrate one's life rather than everyone sit around and be sombre. Where I live I am now known as the funeral guy as families ask for me to preside over the funeral of loved ones, even if they belong to another church. They want a celebration not a downer.
Typical right wing hate and bigotry - very predictable (as is any response from the right to this post).
