The fast-increasing use of tax incentives by all 50 states has failed to increase jobs or investment, two respected experts on state tax policy found after reviewing more than 50 years of giveaways.1

This year, state government subsidies to corporations, partnerships, and other businesses in New York state alone will total $1.7 billion, triple the giveaways in 2005, according to the new study. That's $235 taken from the average Empire State household this year and redistributed to business owners on the theory that redistribution will create jobs.

During those years, the number of jobs in New York declined, the state's official jobs data website shows.2 The total number of New Yorkers employed in 2012 was down 175,000, or 2 percent, compared with 2005.

Tax Analysts -- Billions of Tax Dollars Later, No New Jobs for New York
I guess the "Job Creators" didn't get the memo. Here's where that BS phrase came from....

Quote:
Don’t say “global warming.” Say “climate change.”

Don’t say “healthcare reform.” Say “government takeover.”

And don’t say “greedy, soulless multinational corporations who don’t give a damn about you.” Say “job creators.”

Luntz is like a serial killer of the English language.

As soon as I heard the term “job creators,” I said to myself, “that sounds like Frank Luntz talking.” And sure enough, it’s right in there in Frank Luntz’s latest book, Win: The Key Principles to Take Your Business from Ordinary to Extraordinary. Here are Luntz’s exact words: “You don’t create jobs by making life difficult for job creators.” That’s under the heading “The Ten Rules for 2012: What Americans Really Want to Hear from Their Representatives.”

There is an unmistakable pattern of friends of the Obamas getting rich by receiving special treatment. Recall Solyndra, the California-based company that made solar panels. In spite of widespread predictions that the company was not viable because of recurring losses, cash flow problems and a decreasing worldwide market for the company’s products, the White House pushed hard to give Solyndra huge infusions of cash because Obama crony

What could have spurred the Obama administration to insist on this deal with Siga? About 65% of that money went to Democrats. Perelman donated an additional $50,000 to President Obama’s inauguration.”

Now we come to the latest example of Obama administration cronyism that betrays our "trust". The website was designed and created by CGI Federal, which was awarded a $678 million no-bid, sole-source contract, and whose senior vice-president, Toni Townes-Whitley, is an old buddy of Michelle Obama and an Obama campaign contributor.

Would Obama or his admit to any of this. Of course we all know about Obama's lack of transparency and lack of honesty.

Nope, but being lulled into thinking that Obama is different is stupidity. Being lulled into thinking that Obama is different because he is black is naivety.
