How would you say that in English?
They are looking at the entire system and maximizing it. However, the use of just content, audience and tech doesn't give the full picture.

These are commercial systems that serve commercial interest. So audience may sound better than customer because the term audience ultimately would apply to those being mined and those receiving the benefits of the mining.

Content also sounds better than data, though it applies.

In a couple years there will be 10 billion Facebook accounts. Just my take.

I got rid if Facebook. I saw it as pointless and useless. What's the point of connecting, friending with people, most whom you don't talk to, haven't talked to in years? And those that I do talk to still, if I'm going to talk to them we can use the phone. But my gf was upset that I ditched it, thought I had some shady reason for getting rid if it suddenly. So I'm back on it, but only for her, and her as my only friend on it, so she can post to me her silly vids/pics.

I don't like Zuck either, and I certainly don't trust them with my info. Sadly, there's little we can do nowadays to truly stay safe and secure on the net. You have to be extra careful with everything anymore.

I have had the same problem, because I am not on Facebook. I am on Twitter because you can anonymous.

Huff Post just lost me as a contributor as I won't do Fakebook for security issues. I don't do twitter either, or AIM, or texting, or crackberry, or linkedin, or smartphones, or GPS. I do email, old style cell flip-phone, and a few websites like this. I would like to see this site do some sort of account validation to keep out the trolls, but not Fakebook.

One thing I hate is their misleading or sensationalistic bylines to suck people in to see a nothing article.

Agree. I've posted a lot of politely worded things that never showed up, and I've seen ones posted that are way worse than what I wrote. Sometimes my posts there show up several minutes later, sometimes not at all.

Whatever their reasoning, I'm outta there and off to making better use of my time.

Huf Post has always been crap! Bogus headlines, an overabundance of celebrity crap Arianna can't decide what the mission of Huf Post is suppose to be.

While Huf is one of my list of daily checks, this left wing liberal has never trusted it.

It's easier for the NSA to track you if they link to your facebook account.

Easy translation is that "we need your Facebook account so that we can more easily build a proper dossier on you and maybe send your name over to the IRS for remediation.

HuffPo is garbage and you're better off not reading it. Try HotAir or Little Green Footballs, you'll find you don't get stupid like you do reading HuffPo.
