Funny thread. The usual partisan sniping, while China actually does something. I think they are doing a lot more than just space stuff better than us these days, because we are so obsessed with political battles. We don't do much as a nation these days, except argue, build more, better bombs, and tell others not to.

Ummmm excuse me, but it was Barack Obama that has turned NASA into a "Muslim outreach" organization, instead of the organization that it has historically been. Obama has cut funding for space explorations. It has nothing to do with "RWNJ's" as you so lovingly call them.

Or you could just stop with the right-wing and centrist obsession for war and fold most of the DoD over to NASA. DoD has all of the capability, and then some, of performing space activities. No increase in taxes or cutting social spending needed
