Lol, you have bookshelves filled with evidence of the "West's" decline?

Really?

I can't say I'd do one of those photos at a memorial service, even if others were and especially if I were a high level person, it's just not very classy.

And I would not have been allowed to print my name on a card after about age six. I'd be given a new card until I wrote properly. What is wrong with having higher standards if you are the First Family of the United States?
You have seen the photo the PM took on her phone? Do you have it to post?

That sucks that you wouldn't have been allowed to print your name in school, my signature is a combination of print and cursive. People should be able to sign their name however they feel comfortable to do. The fact that this is even an issue is pretty shallow for you right wingers.

Sigh. There was a photo taken of the Danish PM taking out her iPhone and getting the British PM and President Obama to lean in for a photo.

Only politicians named Carlos Danger should have twitter accounts. And that crack head mayor in Canada.

I would actually follow Rob Ford if I had a twitter account, I am sure it would be extremely funny.

It doesn't "suck" to have standards and have people hold you to them. It is lazy to print your name if you can sign it, for anyone. If Sasha can't write, there is a big problem. If Sasha can sign her name and won't, there is also a problem.

When I have to sign official papers, and there are many, I must sign my name in cursive (an authentic signature which helps protect me from fraud and forgery) and then print my name under that. Printing on both lines won't do.

Printing is for before you learn to write like an adult, and for clarifying your own signature.

Pfft! One of our Prime Ministers, Pierre Trudeau, used to side down the banisters at Buckingham Palace and it didn't hurt him any. He was beloved by his people.

Allegedly bisexual,Trudeau dated celebrities — including Barbara Steisand and Margot Kidder — and invited John Lennon and Yoko Ono to his office. A racy bachelor with penchant for flowers in his lapel, fast sportcars, judo and scarves, he wooed Canada with his irreverent, “un-Canadianly immodest” behavior. He did a pirouette behind the back of Queen Elizabeth II, and also slid down banisters at Buckingham Palace and Marlborough House. He wore sandals to the parliament and accused of using obscenities inside the parliament once. He waved his middle finger at protestors.

What does printing & signing something have anything to do with this?

Well she isn't the president, so you are still overreacting about nothing. Also, it was a signature on a Christmas card, I print my nickname on cards typically, not really anything I would consider official papers by any means.

So you let me know when you are done blowing smoke over nothing.
