Chris Christie also signed the "NJ dreamer act" today......he is not and never was a conservative. He's a NE republican.
I know it's important to be a "lefty " issue, this is clearly an abuse of power and vindictive. It doesn't matter if Christie was a republican, democrat or a martian, he was wrong and many in the middle like him as he is moderate. Doesn't matter, it's a big mistake on his part.
Whether you consider it petty or political hardball, I wonder if this incident will revive the narrative that Christie was chummy with Obama before the 2012 election because he was mad at Romney for passing over him for VP. I think potential 2016 primary opponents are going to hammer Christie over this.
I actually supported Christie to a point but this scandal, and it is a scandal, is the nail in the coffin for me. There is absolutely no way he did not know about this, and I want to see what is under all that black ink in the emails and messages. He abused his political power to ruin the days of hundreds of thousands of his constituents, put lives at risk and wasted money all because of a petty political payback game. He doesn't deserve public office. And people might not think this matters on a national level, but I can tell you that here this is a very big deal, and even independent people like myself have turned on Christie over it.
Liberals trying to create smoke from nothing... instead of talking about the perpetrator, they are talking about Christie because they fear his popularity...
The perpetrator being a Christie appointee, so - is Chritie very bad at appointing people, or is he just bad at controlling them?
