I don't think it is a scandal that would derail the Christie candidacy. It is a scandal, small and provable...Unlike FF and Benghazi which are manufactured and as of yet unproven.

This will have no political traction come 2016 if he runs. He will be judged on other issues.

If Christie had ANY knowledge of closing the bridge, allegedly a punitive action instigated by some on his staff based on emails, he is a jerk and deserves all the storm he will endure, including being forever out of politics.

On the other hand, if he didn't know I don't think the public will hold it against him if he reacts decisively against those that were involved.

LOL…shall we start saying "faux scandal" ? They just "hate" Republicans, that's all.

Maybe this top aide that wrote the memo should be hanging out with Lois Lerner.

No difference, the right's high level of hypocrisy continues.

I admire a pol who takes it to his opponents. Christie has moved up a notch or two on my list if he, in fact, made the mayor pay for not endorsing him. I wish Obama were more like this - using the power of the executive to exact a price for the behavior of Congress. He (and the country) would have been much better off the last few years.

Finally..a "faux scandal" involving a Republican.

Notice the MSM downplayed all the Dem faux scandals but are jumping on this Republican faux scandal like their lives depended on it.

Don't ya just love the "objectivity" of the MSM these days ?
