I apparently can't rep you for this post, but you lived in VB area for roughly about as long as I did, so I can imagine you know where I am coming from with being happy to no longer be living there, nor do I identify with that state anymore. When people ask me where I am from, I say Oregon, I am much more proud to be from that state than Virginia.

And the politician choices there are typically awful, the only person I liked politically was Mayor Orbendorf and that is more because of a more personal level than a political level, she was genuinely a really nice person.

Sounds great to me. Virginia is much better off. Maybe you can take some NoVa transplants with you.

Virginia isn't even that great of a state. It's a tourist spot and that's really the only thing it has going for it. Besides my friends living there, there's not much else to say about Virginia.

It's probably the best overall state to live in.

No thanks, NoVa is barely any better than the rest of the state. Anyone who chooses to live in Virginia deserves what tthy get. Heck, I totally understand why you moved away from that state.

That might have been the funniest joke I have read on this site. It is the best overall if your overall is sitting in traffic to get from one suburb to the next suburb.

Yet you have presented no facts to refute my claim.

Republicans only hold the Virginia House due to extreme gerrymandering. This will end as Virginia moves further away from the Republicans.

Exactly. They gerrymandered themselves into 67 seats . Or you can look at a map and see that Democrats are too concentrated and have a poor record of local and state governance.

You have provided no facts to prove your claim so there is nothing to refute other than your statement being your opinion, which you are entitled to your opinion.
