Because Harrier is delusional. Harrier wants to marry his cat too. Harrier does not understand that biblical marriage does not matter when it comes to federal law. Nor has he read the decision to see that there is no preclusion in marriage laws for same sex marriage related to procreation, which is why the law was struck down. Eventually all bans on marriage equality will fail for the same reasons, they have no vested interest in banning same sex marriage. Saying that there has always and ever only been heterosexual marriage is ignorance and denial of history, saying that marriage and its rights are about children is also ignorance of the 1049 laws and rights associated with marriage.
Saying it is about procreation is baloney since sterile people and senior citizens can marry legally. Saying that marriage is a sacred and religious union ignores that one has to have a federal marriage license for the 1049 rights, that a church wedding does not afford a couple those rights. All they can do is use their book to judge and condemn others and fail to see that what they do is harmful and negative to society, to try and force their religion on everyone.

Harrier is not a fan of the word "I".

You are running away?

You have been asked three times to articulate your position.

What are you afraid of?

You have been asked many times for some solid proof that marriage is being redefined by allowing gays to marry, yet you fail every single time to come up with anything.

You cannot say they do not have standing.

According to the linked article, the Utah Attorney General has appealed to the Tenth Circuit, which is probably just as well since SCOTUS appears to be in no hurry to entertain the controversy. They'll wait for a conflicting body of cases to come up from the Circuits.

Marriage is defined as a union between a man and a woman.

Saying that it also applies to same sex relationships is by definition - redefinition.

Now, answer Harrier's question.

LOL. You call yourself "maniacally self-obsessed" but don't like to use the word "I" which normal, non-self-obsessed people use many times daily?

Exactly, and since I've been asked by a mod to "not feed the trolls," I no longer engage with that poster.
