For many it's round, but only about 6000 years old. And of course for some, the Rapture will be happening soon (....any day now!) So why would they worry about the future of the planet? Or anyone else other than themselves?

Arctic Report Card 2013 - YouTube

Notice how this is from NOAA, an actual scientific organization, and not so stupid blog?
Actually, NOAA is a government entity, that has a vested interest in seeing the size and scope of government increased, not a scientific organization.

Yea, any scientific organization with a connection to the government must not practice real science.

And we all know that the U.S. government is anti capitalist and wants to promote a message that expands restrictions on business.

What do you do with people like this? You wait for these dinosaurs to die off and be replaced with folks who are not so easily brainwashed.

Haven't you heard?

Among those in the global warming cult, "warming" causes cooling, white is black, and up is down. It is like a child proclaiming "opposite day". However, this is more alarming, as members of the global warming cult are (mostly) adults and should not embrace the whimsical aspects of "opposite day" when attempting to implement law and policy that can be detrimental to the rest of us who do not suffer from their affliction.

If only the libs wanted to pay increased energy costs, lose their jobs, depress economic activity, and embrace toxic energy sources, that would be okay. However, their idiocy is being imposed upon the rest of us through the tyranny of misguided EPA regulations and legislation. In short, we are being asked to pay for their idiocy, even though we know better.

Reasons why conservatives don't believe in science, due in large part to equal parts ignorance and brainwashing.

Now read threads like this (and any others on the topic on a conservative forum like this one) and watch all of these bullet points in action:

1) Using Contrarians as "Objective" Experts

2) Belittling Peer Reviewed Science

3) Identifying Science as a Liberal Idea

4) Claiming the Scientists Misrepresent Data for Increased Funding

5) Portraying Climate Science as a "Religion"

I believe in proven science. Much of the climate change science is less than proven. I believe man impacts the climate and our environment. I also believe that is you crap where you eat, eventually you will get sick. We need to clean up our act, but in a reasonable manner. It would help also if the messengers like Al Gore were not liars. It would help if the messengers actually practiced what they preach.

Come on, don't you know, "Day After Tomorrow", is all based on science, and that Hollywood movies are credible sources of scientific evidence and research...

Certainly not credible science considering their only solution is the expansion of the size and scope of that same government.

That is certainly true among the different entities of government. Government, by its very nature, is anti-capitalistic. For a truly capitalistic free-market to exist it must be completely absent of all government. However, as an avowed socialist I am certain you were not aware of that reality.
