You and the gay army are attacking the family.

Your denial of this fact is absolutely meaningless.

It is you who constantly mentions religion in a discussion of public policy.

Kindly refrain from doing so, please.
And just what are your views of "basic human morality" derived from? Because from what I've seen of your postings, your morality is fairly twisted.

Most human beings know right from wrong.

Harrier does.

Do you not?

Do you think that murder or theft is OK?

If not, what is your source for saying that they are wrong?

When did murder or theft come into this? This thread is about same-sex marriage.

Anyway, my reasons for saying something is wrong primarily stem from the Golden Rule, also known as the ethic of reciprocity.

We are discussing basic human morality.

Do you deny that laws against murder and theft are not based upon basic human morality?

Based on that, one can plausibly assume that someone who supports gay marriage is a Democrat or Liberal.

It is very possible to run into someone who supports gay marriage and is not a Democrat. But it's rare. I've only ran into a handful of people who fit that description outside of the Liberty movement.
You need to expand your circle of acquaintances. Since 18 states have legalized same sex marriage, most of them through the legislative process, there have to be more than a "handful" of Republican state lawmakers who support same sex marriage. Moreover, since somewhere around half of all Americans polled support same sex marriage, I would think that a few Pubbies would be in that mix as well.

And for someone who whines about homosexuality being "shoved down his throat" (interesting choice of words, by the way) and who says things like:

Homosexuals are everywhere.

They want to be "mainstream".

How can Harrier avoid them?
....that poster sure spends an awful lot of time in these threads.

In fact, this morning, out of thirteen or fourteen posts in this thread, that poster had posted all but one of them.

I find his obsession with what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home to be.......well, weird and unnatural.

The District of Columbia is not a state.

Harrier has no issue with what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home.

He does have an issue with homosexuals claiming that they can be married.
