Yeah, he could have all the sex he wanted, only not with partners of the sex he was attracted to. How - generous.

What is the question?

Is it based on more of your assumptions?
Go to the previous page. The question is right there.

But just in case you missed it: if the government told you to, would you be celibate for the rest of your life? That's exactly what you think Turing should have done; his downfall was his own fault, for "choosing" to be gay. That is what you believe.

Anyway, I think we can all agree that Turing was a genius and a hero.

The only question there is based on a false assumption on your part.

Harrier won't be baited into endorsing your delusions.

Now, if you have a different question, then lets hear it.

Agreed.

Why sully that legacy with the focus on his being gay?

Ridiculous claim isn't it? Nobody is more proud of and exults and praises Turning's accomplishments more than the gay community. That's the exact opposite of marginalizing.

But since you now claim to disapprove of bans on gay sex: does this mean you approve of Turing's posthumous pardon?
Sure, he should be pardoned.

He never should have been convicted in the first place.

Ask the British government of the day. They're the ones who chose to sully his legacy in the first place.

No, Harrier wouldn't.

The crown was wrong to tell Turing to do so.

When you stop making assumptions about what you think Harrier believes, we can have a more productive discussion.

Except that you value him being gay more than you do his accomplishments.

That is twisted.

Let the man be a human being for goodness sake, not your mascot.
