I remember growing up during the cold war and hearing about the evils of Communism and how it does not work.
How it is a system where everyone is poor except the ones connected at the state level.

You have those supporting the increasing Wealth Inequality in this country from the right and the left against it, when the very reason for this increase is because of Communist Policies, not Capitalist Success's.

The bulk of the wealth in this country is concentrated in people that have their investments tied up in the stock markets.
Stock Markets that have been bailed out by the tax payers and not allowed to fail.
Stock Markets enriched by Government Passed Banker Lobbying Policies to enrich themselves from Foreign Economic Policies in Communist Countries.
Government Propping up the Stock Markets to the tone of 85 Billion a Month till eternity.
There have been hundreds of policies passed to extract as much wealth from the citizens and funnel it into Wall Street.
Also don't forget that the Commie Politicians are in on the act with Insider Trading.

Yes ... sane, intelligent people want the government to do what the constitution created government to do, which is to protect the borders, regulate foreign trade, and institute policies beneficial to the security of the united states, and the general welfare of the people.

In a completely twisted and backward way of thinking, you leftists want government to do everything it has no authority to do, while refusing to do what it is obligated to do.

This is why liberalism is best described as a mental illness.

The government is already interfering with economic transactions, thats why so many businesses are moving overseas to begin with.

Except you are forgetting one thing Whogo.

When we went through our Industrial Revolution, there was a mutual benefit to the owners and workers, because both were also consumers.

What we have in this country is the American's going to China to exploit that labor and selling it back to us to get rich off of it. Those owners should be selling their iphones to the Chinese that make a buck a day for your social engineering to work for the whole of Chinese society.

I am not the leftist. You are the one who wants more government. Those who seriously believe trade protectionism is a good thing may not be mentally ill but they are certainly economically ignorant.

I simply do not want the government preventing me from trading with a guy from China. Amazing, all these people talk about the evils of government while supporting more government.

They are already transitioning to that stage. Hong Kong did it in a generation.

It is in our Constitution in the Preamble that sets the whole tone for the Document!


We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

That means doing what is in the best interests for all citizens in THIS COUNTRY.

Every other country on this mudball look out for their own interests, it is not only in the constitution, it is common sense.

Perhaps you would feel more at home in China?
