It's only true for maybe 30-40% of "poor people" out there.
There is no generalization of what makes people poor. I go by the rule of 3's.
33% of poor people are poor by choice. 33% of poor people are poor by just plain bad luck. 33% of poor people are poor by a combination of unknown factors.

No data. The USDA does NOT release any data on SNAP usage.
You can speculate as much as you want. You can't prove you're right and you can't prove anyone else is wrong.
Because the USDA does not release any data.
$80 billion a year and we have no idea how it's spent.
If that's "so true" then why are you buying your kids soda and chips and yourself monster drinks at the gas station with your EBT card ?
First you say this

Then you say you can't prove it. Contradiction.
Also why does it matter what people buy on EBT? If they are like that person in the pic I posted and working 2 jobs then they pay for just as much of that EBT as you do.

No they don't because if they did they wouldn't have that EBT card to begin with.
Eventually the welfare programs will implode on themselves.
Over $1 trillion a year and growing at 20% as more and more people sink in decline.
Do me a favor. Go ask Wal Mart workers how many of them have EBT cards...they work but they ain't making enough to make ends meet. Do you really believe that ANYONE that get's EBT isn't working?

No what people believe is that like all Gov programs there is a fair amount of waste, fraud and abuse taking place. There needs to be greater accountability and the EBT purchases should have more limits on what can be purchased. Fast food should not be on that list, nor should soda, potato chips or any other junk food.

Then how did the media and the gov make a determination that a lot of folks were using their cards for porn, strip clubs and alcohol?
