Why, to hear them talk, you'd think that antarctica is in line for hosting a bikini contest soon. Glaciers melting and all that water pouring into the sea ... What a trick at -30 f.
lol!!!!

Why do deniers choose to remain uninformed of the actual research and instead waste their time mocking and heehawing about their own lame ignorant misrepresentations of the science?

>>> They just can't admit that global warming has largely been debunked as junk science and the stuff of paid for research. 500 years ago global warmers would have still believed the earth was flat.
They completely ignore REAL environmental issues like water pollution and GMO because the money isn't being spent there, or more accurately the money isn't to be made there.

It's the deniers who can be compared to flat-earthers now.

Global climate change is real. And the actual consensus among climate scientists... not the bogus consensus cited by deniers... is that climate change is real, it's dramatic, and the pace of it is accelerating. One organization that takes it very seriously is the Department of Defense. They are devoting substantial resources to dealing with climate change. What do they know that you don't know?

What the heehawers stubbornly fail to recognize is that climate change shifts weather patterns so dramatically that some places get colder as others get warmer. Glaciers all over the world are rapidly shrinking at ever faster rates. The migration patterns of animals, birds, insects and even fish all over the world are changing rapidly. We're seeing record high temperatures being set at something like 5X the rate of record low temperatures. Large storms are becoming more intense, causing ever more destruction.

What does it take to get the deniers to simply look around them at what is actually happening in the natural world instead of yucking it up every time unusually cold temperatures show up?

Furthermore, it has been well documented that the hundreds of millions of dollars funding the various climate change denial organizations and "experts" are coming from the very rich individuals and corporations dealing in fossil fuels - coal, oil, gas - who stand to lose big time if they can't sell what they've got.

It's estimated that the Koch Brothers stand to gain revenues over $100 Billion - that's with a B - if they can get the Keystone XL pipeline approved. Do you think they care about you, or about your children's future, or your grandchildren's future... or their grandchildren's future? Hell no. They just want more wealth, so they spend money by the bucketful to convince you that "green energy" is bogus, and that there is nothing wrong in burning up fossil fuel reserves and pouring more CO2 into the atmosphere.

But what do you personally get from buying into their manipulations? Seriously! "Do they think we're stoopid or something?" Why yes, I believe they do... and the evidence is that they're right.
