Aside from the actual story, who cares about Wendy Davis?

When Liz Warren gets elected in 2016 she'll gut the bastards like a catfish. Obama is not Liberal enough to take on Wall Street.

Perry, OTOH, has made a quintessentially conservative move with this appointment.

I think you're slightly misunderstanding the smoke signals.

The feds have already sanctioned Cash America for violating the law and obstructing the investigation.
From the article:
"Among the laws the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said Cash America violated was one that says payday lenders can't charge members of the U.S. armed services annual interest that is higher than 36 percent.

In her statement, Davis said predatory lending is a major problem facing the military.

"A 2006 Department of Defense study concluded that payday lending and other high-cost lending products are a threat to military readiness and destructive to the morale of troops on active deployment," the statement said. "The President of the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society called payday lending in particular 'the most serious single financial problem that we have encountered in [a] hundred years.'"

It was never good, and I personally have never supported such decisions no matter who made them.

The pro-abortionists obviously do. She's the abortion candidate.

Many on the left were against it. "The left" isn't a big block that marches in unison.

Its legal and as long as it is who else know now law breakers break the law in payday lending. Its no different than Obama relying on Geithner at treasury. Straight from wall street or calling for advise from in meetings when he is always bad mouthing them. You do not want a idiot crusader running a agency. I hope he learned from the IRS scandal that lesson .
