I suppose people who believe in the religious fiction of a Young Earth (instead of the reality of a 4 and half billion year old earth) might need to shut their mind to the overwhelming evidence to try to maintain their religious beliefs.

Are you serious? That's as silly as asking someone to provide evidence that the earth is not flat. Look it up yourself- it's not exactly hidden away somewhere. I don't care if you believe it or not.

Evolution and natural selection are pretty solid observations...I.agree with them. I don't think humans were created..I don't know how we got here. But neither does Dawkins.
That being said I think Richard Dawkins is a self aggrandizing tool. And I love watching quantum physics theories go nowhere. Because it upsets Dawkins
You seem to fail to understand, or just want to be willfully ignorant, as to how important these quantum physics theories are to Dawkins whole body of work.
