No one has to scour any speech he made. And frankly, no one cares. He's already admitted to being an sob to his wife and family with his drinking and adultery. His wife is a saint for putting up with him lol
Well for one, Phil Robertson actually got a scholarship to go to college.
Yes he did. Ol Phil got himself an scholarship that allowed him to play football and stay home and make babies with Miss Kay while the poor black guys he picked cotton with got a free ticket to the jungle.
Now he's the Hero of the Right because he invented a duck call, got himself a TV show, and is telling America that the gays are going to hell. Wealthy beyond the wildest dreams of the Americans who can't afford to send their kids to college but are spending their hard-earned money to buy Duck Commander trash cans at Walmart.
Phil has the constitutional right to say what he wants, without being told by the government what he can and cannot say. It does not, however, give him any right to avoid criticism, ridicule, or even social ostracism for what he says, After all, his critics, even those demanding his removal from the show are just exercising THEIR freedom of speech.

It's funny to see people attack a man who openly admits that decades ago he was leading a horrible life but amazingly he turned it around for his family, his wife and himself. If no body cared people wouldn't be attacking him for speaking his mind.
You don't like what he said? Don't listen. I don't care what people say about my race or nationality. I know who I am, and you people day makes no difference to me. I can play the victim role like many folks I know, but I will not stoop that low

People are just pointing out what an ignorant, backwards, the guy really is. There's no law against that. We take our cues from how the same faction he represents have vilified the president of the United States for the past 5 years.

Unfortunately, everyone in the lime light is scrutinized for every thing they say and do.
