I suppose the media/left prefer the alternative, where they are having abortions and collecting government assistance, or having kids out of wedlock and collecting government assistance.
I actually watched this entire video a while ago. Its called "I am second". They are all people talking about their religious convictions. There are tons of them on youtube.
In the video, he actually talks about his own life and how he married early, when he says "Theres a saying in the south, if you marry a girl by the time she is 16, she will pick your ducks. If you wait till she is 20, she'll pick your pockets. So we married early."
Then he goes on to talk about basically how hard his life was being poor and married and having a child so early in life. How he went to college and started partying back in the 60's. And how he basically became someone he didn't want to be. And how he pushed his wife away. Until he "found god".
You can bet the left will be scouring for every speech or sermon he ever made.......
No need. He's talked on the show about Miss Kay (who is guilty of the sin of gluttony but who cares when the LGBT community can be told they're going to hell) being 16 when they got married.
BTW: That marriage, having a son early and going to college kept him out of Vietnam. Yep. The new Hero of the Right managed to dodge the draft at the height of the war.
Girls have babies at 14 and 15 and we have to support them because the guys is off impregnating another girl.
Yep, and to the left, that's just fine and dandy. But marriage? Oh, noes!
I didn't open the link in the first post because I'm not remotely interested, but girls marrying at a very young age was once very common in America.
I clearly remember the hullabaloo when Jerry Lee Lewis married his 14 year old cousin. The outrage wasn't the girl's age. It was the cousin aspect that got people riled up. lol
What do they say; if a man can service I army at 18 he should be able to buy liquor. Well I guess the same logic applies to girls if they can have children ;so common now.Seems liberals have no problem with them having abortion at that age.

Well for one, Phil Robertson actually got a scholarship to go to college. It wasn't like it was something he orchestrated for the intention of dodging the draft.
Secondly, Christians should not be supporting war anyway. In fact, Christianity basically says that practically all wars should be avoided at practically all costs. You know, love thy neighbor?
Pacifism is a Christian ideal. Why do you think the Amish were exempt from the draft?
How Christians became the warmongering party, I have no idea. That wasn't always the case, and thats not how it is supposed to be.
