I can claim that the reality is anything. Claims do not make for facts.

The retired horses will be put down soon, just like the cats in those "centers".

That is entirely untrue and something which you pulled straight out of your gluteus maximus.

They are liberals - they want to regulate everything.

I wonder how long until Belmont and Aquaduct will be shut down. I mean they actually make the horses run at those evil places........and drag a midget around on their back the whole way.

Anyone who thinks a horse pulling a carriage around is inhumane and they are better off in a stable all day without exercise and stimulation is on crack. It looks like De Blasio is going to be Bloomberg on roids.

I didn't see any allegations of abuse in the article. Inhuman is the claim. Hell liberals think it's inhumane to make a prisoner do a day's work too........horses aren't human though so they best find a new term. I see this loon also wants to replace them with electric cars. Wonder who will be paying for that.........lol.

Plus one guy said these horses get five weeks to six months vacation.

Good grief. Your opinion makes you an expert? You didn't answer my questions. Did you see all the stables? Did you see all the horses? Once you have done that, get back to me with your "expert" opinion.
I'm not stating an "opinion" I'm stating a fact. How many horses did you see? Was it 1, 2, 50, 100? How many stables did you visit?

I can hardly show you what my eyes have seen, which clearly is more than you have. Appearances are funny. They don't necessarily show what may be going on - be it an animal or human. Did you ever see videos of what workers do to milking cows? You can't see the abuse on the animal, but what I saw made me sick. Unnecessary abuse, which comes in many shapes and forms by people who get a perverse pleasure from being cruel.

I guess we can agree on one thing - there are many people who are opposed to animal abuse, me being one of them, and there are many people who think that animal abuse is OK and shouldn't matter, such as you.

Nor does one's opinion make them an expert.

Fortunately it was only a statement, unlike some people who need to pull their head out of their gluteus maximus.
