The Convention of States is going to prevent that from happened, in spite of the Democrats.
Thank you Glitch.

how are you going to pass amendments when you don't have complete control of 38 state legislatures.

Though effective messaging to the voters of those state..if their elected officials refuse to listen to the will of the voters they will elect people who will call for a convention of states.

You guys have lost the popular vote 5 out of the last 6 elections for the white house with your message, but all of sudden you are going to be effective to win 38 state legislatures?

Well, golllllly gee! Why don't we just shut down this entire forum since there is no use discussing ANY issue. We will automatically accept every thing you have ever posted.

While we are at it we can dismiss Congress and YOU can tell the rest of us what we think and forget about voting.

Talk about being a no-it-all.

So when is this all going to happen? Do you have any proof of any state even close to passing this? And furthermore, why would any state care to do this? What would be the agenda you would get to accomplish from this?

I'm just trying to understand where you are getting these assumptions that this can be pulled off. You need liberal support, we have a very toxic relationship, and the amendments the tea party is proposing is a conservative agenda. Yet somehow, you guys seem to think this is a viable option.
