You were lucky for those seven years. My rates rose every six months. Did you really believe that yours would never, ever go up?
I've had my BCBS policy about 8 years and saw a 2-4% increase every year until 2012.
They last 2 years the same policy has gone up about 30% and with the 2 new FEES going into effect Jan 1 this months premium went up another 4.5%
My Ex with Pre-existing Cancer had a state high risk policy. Her new Obama Policy is going up 25% effective Jan 2014.

Brought the wife in for bloodwork on 1-2. Doctors,staff still there. The sun has come up and we are still able to get healthcare, amazing!
