Telemarketer. I nailed it. It's ok; you don't have to admit it. I sure wouldn't.
If that is what you want to think, that is fine with me. Again, I don't know you.

And what I do for work, what does that have to do with the topic of minimum wage?

So now you are saying what the pay is has little to do with the business model, talk about not being able to make up your mind. So now you are saying Walmart can pay their employees the same as Costco because the pay has very little to do with their business model.

Business model:
a design for the successful operation of a business, identifying revenue sources, customer base, products, and details of financing.

However, the business model dates back to the earliest days of business; it merely describes the way in which a company makes money. A business model can be simple or very complex. A restaurant's business model is to make money by cooking and serving food to hungry customers. A website's business model might not be so clear, as there are many ways in which these types of companies can generate revenue. For example, some make money (or try to) by providing a free service and then selling advertising to other companies, while others might sell a product or service directly to online customers.

Note whats missing.. expenses, and employees

How can someone know so little about a subject they talk about so frequently?

Once again, for more clarity, minimum wage was and is never meant to be a living wage.

I am sorry I really have to laugh. Sorry.

Do you liberals not know anything beside the magic word "tax"?

If you raise taxes on the imports, you would create the following:
1. The targeted countries would raise taxes on US products reciprocally making US products even more expensive and less competitive, which translate to more job loss.

2. Considering we don't have much are importing a HUGE chunk of our products, doing so would increase the cost of living significantly which would result in more people crying for higher minimum wage. :-)

Dems offered??

The House passed legislation that sits in the Senate untouched.

Then keep shipping more jobs overseas and keep complaining about the shrinking middle class with no solutions to fix it.

I don't know. You asked me, remember?

I figured that since you wanted to know what I did for a living, you'd reciprocate when I gave you the answer you asked for.

Not everyone believes that they need to abide by the rules of common courtesy, I guess.

But more tax is the answer or making labor more expensive by raising minimum wage is the answer?

Here are a few ideas that you may want to try:

1. Remove all corporate taxes, capital gain tax.
2. Remove all or set a flat rate for income tax with 0 deductible.
3. Remove minimum wage requirement.
4. Implement something like Fair Tax.
5. No tax on any income if such income is invested into a business or stock.

I guarantee you that jobs would flood back into America and employment would roar. Believe it or not, America is still the best place to do business and has the best work force, and you actually get far more taxes this way.
