It is a warming TREND, Luckily that trend seems to be coming to an end, But feel free to grovel at Al gore's golden alter and be sure to leave a fat cash offering to ward off the evil global warming demons.
They are called trends and they have been going on for MILLIONS of years.

What kind of "New speak" is this? It's fair to say that if the "Trend" is towards warmer climate conditions then it's freakin GETTING WARMER!!!!

Your friends in Nunavut are in a bind because they left there tradititional semi nomadic lives behind and now live in government paid for hovels sitting on permafrost.

The so called warming trend that would according to the gore worshippers never stop has been stagnant for 16 years now. and a cooling trend appears to be upon us.
But unfortunatly for your friends in nunavut it is not going to happen tommorro.

No -- much of the country is going to be bitter cold by Monday.

If the scientists (aka Al Gore) are so smart, then did they predict these record breaking temperatures for January last summer? Or even 2 months ago?

The whole "global warming" thing didn't pan out as planned so they changed it to "global climate change". This way, they can be right whether it gets hotter or cooler.

The bitter cold reinforcement arrives this weekend.

A low pressure system producing blizzard conditions in parts of North Dakota and northwest Minnesota will open the door to another bitter cold invasion from Canada.
Highs Saturday will remain below zero in much of North Dakota, northwest Minnesota, and northeast Montana.
It is called a polar vortex and it has more to do with wind in a particular part of the world then it does with climate. Anti-Climate change people should first learn to distinguish between weather and climate.

Ocean temps are continuing rising trends.

As I've posted numerous times, regional cold weather does not disprove the state of global climate. Global warming is not going to eliminate cold weather. It can and will still happen. The thing with global warming is that it's global. You can't look in one area and determine if global warming is valid or not. You need to look large scale; at everything on earth.

Also, for those who are not aware, climate and weather are not the same thing.

Give it up. It's like trying to argue with a herd of goats.
