Chances are we'd find out if humans were capable of enslaving it or killing it really quickly.

I never want to find out because if we found alien life, one of two things would happen, we would conquer them or they would conquer us.

Just think Europeans landing on the coast line of the east coast of the US, and think what happen to the natives of the land the Europeans landed on.

They could be friendly or more spiritually evolved than us

All I can say is that things might never be the same.

Other than that, there might be too many unknowns and uncertainties for me to create a solid prediction in regards to this.

This, and/or us humans would find out if these aliens were capable of enslaving and/or killing us really quickly.

Yes, or they could be the alien equivalent(s) of the German Nazis, with them considering themselves to be the master race/species and whatnot.

What would happen is that it would result in worldwide turmoil and rejection from the major religions, many which have always denied that any other life but humans exist
