People don't have a clue about what the "Infrastructure Bank" really is or how it would work.
Do we really want more un-elected "boards" that decide how all money is spent? The American Citizens have no idea of what those "Boards" might do, how it will effect all of us ....... it's way past time to start paying attention to this stuff.

Yes - it will probably be of benefit to Labor Unions in a lot of States, but the worst part is that the money from these "Infrastructure Boards" will flow only to Urban Areas and the rest of the USA can suck an egg. The "Infrastructure Boards" will make sure that the major Political Lobby groups get all the money for "Infrastructure", which will cut out anyone who is not Politically connected in a major way.

It will be a disaster that will be hard to reverse.

Most experts agree that the US infrastructure is in dire need of updating and reinvestment. So if Obama's plan isn't good enough, what's the GOP's plan?

Get the $800 billion he wasted and use that. It's what it was supposed to be used for in the first place.

You're just deflecting and making stuff up.

How is it a deflection? It was said that the $800 billion was to be used for "shovel ready" infrastructure work. It wasn't.

Do we allow Bernie Madoff out of prison to become an investment expert again? He didn't blow through even a fraction of $800 billion.

How do you trust someone who did such a poor job the first time?

No one said the full amount was for shovel ready work, so maybe he has a point about you making stuff up. 1/3 of the money was designated to tax cuts/credits, 1/3 for unemployment etc aid, and 1/3 for projects.

Nobody is going to trust him to spend anything. On top of blowing the other $800 billion he is too secretive and untrustworthy.

Congress spends money, not the president. I think it's a lame to oppose tax cuts, what can I say.....

You've already noted it's not a tax cut.

A reduction of tax rate from 35% to 28% is a tax cut. It is a matter of fact, not a matter of opinion.
