When you meet a straight couple for the first time, is the fact that they prefer having sex with people of the opposite sex the first thing that pops into your mind? Do you start thinking about the sex acts they perform with each other in their bedroom?
I am ambivalent. Anyone's sexual preference is none of my business. I think most gay celebrities only come out for the "attaboys" Robin Roberts could have thanked her partner to her face. No need to make it a public gesture.
If I had cancer and my wife supported me, we would not announce it to the media, no one would care anyway.
There would be more mainstream acceptance of the gay lifestyle, if it wasn't announced every day, who is and isn't.

I don't care. That is their own business and I have no right to judge them, Christianity is about loving the sinner and not throwing stones. It doesn't make me think less of them, but it doesn't make me think better of them either, it shouldn't matter really.
However I do dislike how the media makes a big deal about it, a person is gay? Who cares? It doesn't effect you does it? Therefore it shouldn't be news at all. I don't know though why so many gay people feel the need to '' advertise '' their homosexuality so to speak. Who cares? It's your own personal business,II don't want to hear about it.
