There are a few, to be sure, but the vast majority of unemployed want to be working.
or
There are very few willing to work for less than what they receive from unemployment benefits?
I mean I get that, but at some point those people need to accept that there is a limit.

That's the point, right there. If, once extensions are needed, rather than have UI tied to ones previous earnings, perhaps only giving a set (probably lower) amount would encourage those that could find jobs to take one but don't because they make more on UE benefits.
The notion someone is living well on UE benefits is absurd. UE is the fast track to being broke. Have you tried to pay your mortgage or rent with the $1200/ month then you need to pay phone, and power bills, $300 if you are lucky, and do you really want to eat too?
My monthly household expenses are about $2200 not counting food or anything extra, UE would mean I loose $1000/ month+ and this is what people are clamoring for? I think not.
I would love to see those that claim it is a lifestyle people want, live on the benefits for a couple and tell us how it went.

There are a great many people who are content to live 'well enough' without having to work.I have little doubt that some that would rather stay on Unemployment benefits have another income source or an earning spouse that allows it, whether it be because they keep hoping for better options or they find it works out for them (balancing out due to not having expenses they had while working.....daycare, gas, eating out at lunch, etc

You know, before Obama, I would have had lots of sympathy. If you voted for Obama, nope, not feeling ya.
Obama should have lost his job so you could get one.
