I realize that is your argument. It simply shows why there is an argument. We've progressed to a place we didn't originate from. So, it's going to remain an argument, I believe.
Do you have an argument as to why gay people should be denied equal access to a law and the privileges that law confers?
Are there other laws gay people should denied access to?
(I mean, our founding fathers thoughts on gay people were that they should be executed.* Should we go back to that standard of legal treatment?)
*except for Thomas Jefferson who though gay men should be castrated and lesbians should have their noses cut off
And this is just one more progression as we teach the archaic, tribal members of society that such treatment of human beings is uncivilized.
It might be to you, but to others it shows a degeneration of the social fabric, and I believe that is the argument that is going to continue.
It's just that this post here is very true and going to, continually, throw some fuel to the fire:

My feelings have nothing to do with the post. I was just stating the truth. Then I remembered the Duck Dynasty garbage and watered it down for those who have problems facing the truth. But the truth is still the truth and will NEVER change. You are not angry with me. I didn't make the rules. The only feelings I have toward someone so blinded by sin is pity.
There's no such thing as sin.
The only feelings I have toward someone so blinded by religion is pity.
