I suspect that no one in the republican party has called for an end to health-care and higher education and you are making this up.

You are building a strawman argument.
Actions speak louder then words.

In Norway, everyone is now a millionaire, thanks to oil.

In the U.S. ExxonMobil is a multibillionaire, thanks to oil.

Norway is a welfare state.

Everyone in Norway became a theoretical crown millionaire on Wednesday in a milestone for the world's biggest sovereign wealth fund that has ballooned thanks to high oil and gas prices.

Until it runs out, then what?

Run the trust funds out until there is no more and increase taxes to try and keep the same standard of living. Or, letter Q, go into debt to keep that same standard of living. There is another answer and that's reduce their standard of living.

All roads lead to the same result. A bunch of highly educated people fleeing the country for a better life. That's already happening by the way...

Not a very mature argument in this debate.

No detailed thought or well defined counterpoints at all.

I thought progressives liked to keep the conversation at an adult level?
