I wonder if the camera crew recognized the hypocracy in Jon Stewarts "rant" on inequality..

If it's a policy that benefits the rich, then it doesn't have to be paid for, should last forever and is good for America," Stewart summed up.
"But if it benefits the poor, we can't afford it, should end it as soon as possible and it will destroy our nation from within. Because if you give money to people who don't have it, it corrupts them. But if you give it to people who are already rich, they have a money immunity built up already. Handouts don't hurt them. Money is the root of all evil for people who don't have any already -- just like smallpox is for the Native American community," he said.

That about sums it up right there

Stewart is a dumb guy. Just an Obama fanboy brown noser.

I don't think you can call it a rant if he had 20 writers write it for him. lol A rant comes from you, it isn't contrived by others.

LOL.

The crew is fine, they're probably very highly paid. People don't have a problem with some inequality, they have a problem when almost ALL of the gains go to the top. They have a problem when inequality becomes too extreme.

You mean when people get paid the amount of money, like John Stewart receives?

I think Jon Stewart is funny not always clearly left. If you saw his clip on the Obamacare website you would see that.

However, he is just an entertainer, who usually uses politics and current affairs as his base. I haven't watched this clip, but I bet he didn't actually get into the policies the left wants to put in place. The flaw is that "helping the poor" as the Dems usually want is nothing more than masking the core problems in the family structure of urban poor people.

You missed the key point that he is saying we should DO something about it. He is rich and realizes that a lot of people are very poor and need help, which is a lot different from the conservative talking heads that get millions to blow smoke. They're rich and everybody else can **** off.

So what has he done about it other than demand other people do things?
