Because if you give money to people who don't have it, it corrupts them. But if you give it to people who are already rich, they have a money immunity built up already. Handouts don't hurt them. Money is the root of all evil for people who don't have any already -- just like smallpox is for the Native American community," he said.

That about sums it up right there

Without the policies of rich vs poor I wonder what the left would complain about.
The same power the government has to give money is the same power they want to decide who it take it away from.
The question they NEVER want to admit is WHY does the government and or why should they have the right to take anyone's money? The policies of theft and the power of government should be what the leftist like Stewart should be asking and how and or why they think this is liberty. He is a socialist and because he is a proud and free speaking socialist their agenda always asks for power to control it all.

Because the left believes that the poor are poor because of the rich.

How is this relevant? Cant rich people recognize the issues of poverty? And since when does the GOP attack people because they are wealthy?

Right, how much of his own money does this rich hypocrite and people of his ilk put up to help "the poor"?

They pay taxes and don't cry that it isn't fair.

Lol @ your childish use of "butthurt". I have kids that use that same term, but they are teenagers.

Even AS a writer, Stewart writes less than 25%. He's certainly not the lead writer, and they have a staff of writers that all contribute.

And it's not like he's writing financial analysis pieces. Most of his material -- as with any "talk show" -- is nothing to brag about. He's honestly about as funny as Letterman, Leno, Kimmel et al. In other words, not really that funny.

I bet he earns, let me guess......$14 million a year?

IF he pays the camera guys, lighting people, makeup artists, floor sweepers, etc. $150,000 a year, he STILL outearns them by 93 times!

We all know that he doesn't pay that well.

More likely, they make about $50,000.......stewart earns 270 times what his average employee makes!

Why are lefties so easily bought into this BS?

He is good at what he does.....that is why he earns what he does.....so he should just shut the hell up and make people laugh.
