When it comes to the internet and as long as the government has no say it it, free markets will win over and these so called up charges nonsense will be removed!
Don't worry, the big network operators - who admittedly also happens to be your direct competition - is bound by FCC rules to treat traffic from your network like traffic from their own customer base.
Sorry, did I say "is bound"? I meant, "was bound". They're not bound any more. But they're sure to treat you fair. Big companies always love it when small local operators run in the same market.
There has BEEN NO CHANGE. Stop telling lies.
There has never been any regulation of the internet only bandwidth providers and networks. Ever.
I don't mean YOU, I mean businesses will have to pay if they want your business or else the ISP will slow down or block you from doing business with those who don't pay to get preferential treatment. If you want a free market and you want the internet to remain a free market, you should support net neutrality, and order to keep the net neutral, government regulations must be in place to prevent ISPs from making it pay to play.
The irony of this?? The net neutrality argument was one of the big talking points against Ron Paul....
OMGZ we cannot vote Ron Paul in office, he will kill NET NEUTRALITY!!!
Yet, here we are...knee deep into the Obama administration and look what happened?
NET NEUTRALITY IS DEAD.
The president leads the executive branch. The executive branch supports net neutrality.
This decision was made by members of the judicial branch (appointed in 1994 by the Clinton administration), on the grounds that the executive branch (aka the Obama administration) doesn't have the authority to enforce net neutrality.

Of course, the irony with your statement is...
Regulations haven't been wiped out....they have just been modified. As is always the case with these regulatory arguments. When you cherry pick which regulations to uphold and not to, that's regulation working against you....

I'd quote Adam Smith on government regulations, but of course, your own, personal completely b.s. and made-up definition of capitalism trumps anything he would have to say.
You're the same person that believes
1. Regulation = control (it doesn't)
2. liberalism = fascism (it isn't, and we've already established that you're the fascist)
3. Adams Smith is less an authority on capitalism than you, random internet guy, are.
Net neutrality is the kind of regulation that Adam Smith asked for, it keeps the market open and free. Open and free markets aren't possible without government protection.
I'm sure Obama is a stranger to executive orders....
Surely, you jest.
He's already talking the game..let's see if it's lip service. (I won't hold my breath)
yeah believe it or not, america doesn't function like a dictatorship
and for the record, people didn't vote for Ron Paul because he's incoherent and the prospect of him leading anything is frightening. not because of "net neutrality"
