Seems reasonable. But no doubt some will get their panties in a wad over this.

Can't express their views to underage children? What does that even mean? Can two gay women not hold hands at the games because children are present?

Well... his country... his rules. As silly as they are. Personally, if I were gay and knowing his stance, I wouldn't even bother going there. Why go to somewhere where you're not wanted, and fund their economy (because chances are you'd be spending money there too)? Hell... I'm straight and I wouldn't go to Russia!

I think Putin should expand his statement by asking that all adults, whether gay, straight, or priest, leave the children alone.

Because people love the Olympics, which only roll around once every four years, or have spent decades training for the games?

Like I said, his country. His rules. I don't agree with Putin on the matter, so why visit his country and help in any way shape or form in putting your money into his economy? Furthermore, me thinks any gay folks who would try to go over there and protest might not like the outcome. Russia isn't the United States. Look at what they're doing to gay people in Nigeria.

I would go as an athlete competing but not as a spectator. I wouldn't want to set myself up to be used as pawn in Putin's political game.

Lol! Yup, it's going to be hissy fits galore from the gay community. Putin knows how to tick people off.
