Well... his country... his rules. As silly as they are. Personally, if I were gay and knowing his stance, I wouldn't even bother going there. Why go to somewhere where you're not wanted, and fund their economy (because chances are you'd be spending money there too)? Hell... I'm straight and I wouldn't go to Russia!

Like I said, his country. His rules. I don't agree with Putin on the matter, so why visit his country and help in any way shape or form in putting your money into his economy? Furthermore, me thinks any gay folks who would try to go over there and protest might not like the outcome. Russia isn't the United States. Look at what they're doing to gay people in Nigeria.
