Well few of those opposed to gun control want ANY gun banned....

Those who favor gun control have the issues with certain guns.

For a little more info,one was banned(well restricted) and one was not.

Both fire the same round and both have detachable magazines.

No,what would be the purpose of a ban?

Unlike a lot of gun nuts,I have no real desire to own one,well maybe to sell as they bring a great return on the investment.

By the way,automatic weapons aren't illegal,simply requires a tax stamp and additional federal paperwork.

What is the need for a fully auto weapon?

I have no problem with people owning as many guns as they want, I just don't see the need for fully auto weapons to be out there.

Are you going to go hunting with it? Probably not.
Target shooting? Wouldn't really show much in the way of accuracy.

See above,I don't see the 'need' for private ownership of aircraft but whatever....

Hunting?What bearing does hunting have on firearm ownership?

oz - if you mean banned under the 'Assault Weapons Ban': the top one has a flash suppressor, bayonet mount, pistol grip, and folding stock, which IIRC makes it a 'bad' weapon. But where is the grenade launcher?

Evil folding stocks....I can't count how many innocent chilluns were murdered by folding stocks.
