Every conservative in New York should pick up and leave that dump. With all the producers that would leave, maybe the intolerant liberals would get a nice fat tax increase to pick up the slack.

The most conservative portion of the state is generally the southern tier and well there isn't that much $$ there.
The conservatives that are downstate and make $$$ do so in part because of NYC, so I doubt they are leaving anytime soon.... |

If same gender "marriage" was put up to a vote there would be many areas of the state that would vote against it with over 90% of the vote. |

And I as a staunch conservative have no desire to reside in NY which would be akin to having a vacuum cleaner attached to my back pocket perpetually sucking money out.
