Every conservative in New York should pick up and leave that dump. With all the producers that would leave, maybe the intolerant liberals would get a nice fat tax increase to pick up the slack.
That would be poetic justice. It's about time the left started footing the bill for their failed social experiments.

The most conservative portion of the state is generally the southern tier and well there isn't that much $$ there.
The conservatives that are downstate and make $$$ do so in part because of NYC, so I doubt they are leaving anytime soon....

What the heck is a normal American anyway, a Tea Party member.

If same gender "marriage" was put up to a vote there would be many areas of the state that would vote against it with over 90% of the vote.

And I as a staunch conservative have no desire to reside in NY which would be akin to having a vacuum cleaner attached to my back pocket perpetually sucking money out.

and jews (it's very likely over half of NYC's Jew fall into one of those 3 positions), Muslims, and Hispanics (very strong Hispanic Evangelical movement in NY), and blacks (polls showed aroung half of the black in NY are against gay "marriage") etc.
Cuomo's NY would have much less than 50% of the population (the people who he wants out also have a much higher percentage of the children of NY)

National polls indicate over 50% support same sex marriage, don't know where you get 90% for a liberal state like NY.
