No.

I said that racist and homophobic views don't deserve tolerance, because they are-- by definition-- intolerant. It's really not hard to understand.

Wall Street pigmen, street criminals, upstate drug addicts, welfare moochers and conmen - now those are Cuomo's 'people'.

so why did you bring up conservative?
Are you suggesting that conservatives are all racist and homophobes?

Your intolerance of those views is by definition intolerant.

Chanting it that isn't, over and over wont change that.

No. That is not what I am suggesting.

Conservatives are the ones arguing that their views aren't being afforded the level of tolerance they'd like.

No. Sorry, my friend.

Ethically, objectively, there is no duty to tolerate views that are of and in themselves intolerant. Adults can agree to disagree, however, the demeaning of a class of people as "less than" is reprehensible intolerance and doesn't rise to the level of a view to be tolerated.

What's your concern here? If you're not a racist or homophobe, you really have nothing to worry about. Even if you are a racist and a homophobe, the penalty for being one is usually only the disgust of others.

Enjoy your Sunday.

But what makes something racist or homophobic? I have had many accuse me of being homophobic on this forum because I am indifferent to gay marriage - not against, indifferent. My favorite is the number of times I get accused of being a racist because I don't like Obama or agree with some social policy or the other - when I am more black than Obama. Differring viewpoints do not automatically make one person wrong and one right.

Governor Cuomo just proved the double standard that the left follows "our views are the only legit ones".

Not to mention the misleading thread title being totally without context OR accuracy.

As I have already pointed out and you keep validating through responses, you have an intolerance of views you don't agree with and consider yourself some sort of decider on what views are acceptable.
