Since the introduction of national socialism via "Social Security", no one has absolutely owned a thing. The government can and will tax away anything and everything.
Yep, even if you no longer have a mortgage on a house but don't pay taxes the government can and will taketh away.

Lefties will deny what Obama is doing because they are being bribed with promises of wealth redistribution. They are bought just like big business.

Which is your precise mode of operation. Of course industry is hamstrung by MILLIONS of pages of arcane, conflicting, stupid, destructive, and expensive regulations... And by agencies which enforce those regulations capriciously, inconsistently, and arbitrarily.

And taking over individual decisions? Everyone's entire day and everything the surrounds them are products of decisions taken from the individual. EVERY product, service, business, or activity has been altered, prohibited, or otherwise controlled, often almost totally, by regulation.

And, yet, you argue that there's nothing going on... nothing happening, no intent, and no effort to achieve a political goal. Should we make an exhaustive list of 600 things, you will immediately proceed to an "Is that all"?

My last post to you on this topic is here. My last words are: You are the consummate liar, and dishonest in every aspect, fashion, and intent. And you think you're clever.

Amazing. There's not a single good thing in this world you could do. And that puts you behind 1st grade kids.
Not really, since I don't share his ideology.

What the ****?

Ok....

Apparently our "millions" of pages of regulations is not destroying our economy, with an unemployment rate of 25%. But, this is getting off topic, because regulations does not equate to socialism at all.

So, what does this have to do with socialism, and how has Obama taken away the ability for an individual to make their own decisions that a Republican governor hasn't when it comes to abortion or gay rights? Again, you don't open up this can of worms

There IS NOTHING going on. It's only in your own little paranoid mind that there's some huge conspiracy going on that Obama is secretly hanging out with Karl Marx's corpse in the West Wing when no one's looking

Funny that it's county and municipal governments that enforce this not the Feds

I rightie attacking business...that doesn't sound like the playbooks. I reap no benefit from this so-called wealth redistribution. Did you call the Bush cuts the same? Or not since they went the other way.

Did you notice how he equated NOT TAKING MONEY from industry the same as GIVING MONEY to industry?

This reveals a mindset that says that ALL money is the government's. That not taking is the same as "giving". What it really reveals is who he thinks OWNS it. And it's not who has earned it.

Try to keep up and don't ever put words in my mouth. Under your kind of ****ed up world, Bush and the GOP "redistributed" wealth from poor to rich. But now that you claim it is the other way around (it really isn't, remember Romney's tax rate) its socialism. So if you earned one million dollars, and I earned 20K, I should pay a higher portion in taxes for what reason exactly? My doing so would mean you could pay less. How is that any different?
