No, you're working hard to shift blame away from the administration. Methinks thou dost protest waaay too much.

Plus, there is not a single mention of the video on any social media in any language in Libya prior to the attack, a recent study shows. The only mentions in Libya occur after Rice appeared on the Washington Sunday talk shows. How does Rice explain that?

I hope it continues to haunt the administration, until we get to the truth that the families deserve, and that the country deserves.

Here is what Susan Rice said on NBC.

Flashback: What Susan Rice Said About Benghazi - Washington Wire - WSJ

DAVID GREGORY: Well, let’s talk– talk about– well, you talked about this as spontaneous. Can you say definitively that the attacks on– on our consulate in Libya that killed ambassador Stevens and others there security personnel, that was spontaneous, was it a planned attack? Was there a terrorist element to it?
MS. RICE: Well, let us– let me tell you the– the best information we have at present. First of all, there’s an FBI investigation which is ongoing. And we look to that investigation to give us the definitive word as to what transpired. But putting together the best information that we have available to us today our current assessment is that what happened in Benghazi was in fact initially a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired hours before in Cairo, almost a copycat of– of the demonstrations against our facility in Cairo, which were prompted, of course, by the video. What we think then transpired in Benghazi is that opportunistic extremist elements came to the consulate as this was unfolding. They came with heavy weapons which unfortunately are readily available in post revolutionary Libya. And it escalated into a much more violent episode. Obviously, that’s– that’s our best judgment now. We’ll await the results of the investigation. And the president has been very clear–we’ll work with the Libyan authorities to bring those responsible to justice.

Susan Rice's comments match the initial version of the CIA talking points. It matches what the CIA was officially telling Congress, the White House and the State Department. Her video reference was to the the events in Cairo. The events in Cairo were sparked by the video. The initial version of the CIA talking points also linked the events in Cairo to the attack in Benghazi.

I don't think the administration is blameless around the attack in Benghazi, particularly in the area of security for the facility before the attack. However, the focus on Susan Rice's comments has always been misplaced outrage. If you are really concerned and members of Congress are really concerned then they should be focusing on improving the processes at the CIA.

Nothing like an innocent heavily armed protest.

Must have been Al-Qaeda that were just "passing by" as they were "on the run" as Obama put it.

Your first sentence makes no sense and your second sentence is wrong. Like I indicated there is no shortage of heavily armed Libyans, you are surprised?

Then why did Ms. Rice go on at least four Sunday morning talk shows and deliberately lie to over 10,000,000 viewers?

Is she trying to outdo the President when it comes to lying?

The media doesn't care....... period.

They are trudging up Dick Cheney and CIA torture after 911..........can you freakin' believe that?

They covered a blocked bridge in New Jersey closer than Benghazi.......

Susan Rice accurately communicated the CIA's initial assessment on the attacks in Benghazi. What was Susan Rice's deliberate lie?

"what happened in Benghazi was in fact initially a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired hours before in Cairo"

HOW do they know
so soon after the attack. On one hand they say the FBI is investigating. We STILL haven't heard from them, then on the other hand she says "in fact".

The people in Benghazi say a different story. It was NOT spontaneous but a well planned attack.
