You think the CRC is a "bridge to nowhere?" You might be out of touch, also do you know how much river traffic the Columbia has or how much shipping traffic the current bridge handles and how badly it needs to be replaced? Also the CRC isn't just Oregon's bridge, it is also Washington's bridge as well and requires both states and the federal government to come up with a better solution.

The only entities paying that much are governments, because they're the only ones that WOULD pay that much, and the reason for that is that they're spending other peoples' money.

All of these Obamacare websites should have cost less than $5M to build, even at government rates and built-in graft.

In the 60's we put a man on the moon using technology far less advanced then what comprises today's smart phone. In the 2010's, the United States Government and the 50 states can't even build a functioning website.

No, Big Government cannot still do Big Things. How many failures must we observe before it finally sinks in?

Nope, theres a lot more going on under the hood, probably 8-12 million for 10 engineers, 5 val guys, and some outside database support. The other 192 million was for management.

But really, no not 5 million.

I cant help but think....maybe that 200 million spent was for more then JUST the website.....

Well the government can surely do it...........they just have to throw money to all their crony buddies to "fail" first before they get it done. That is how you get campaign contributions after all. Basically money laundering with our dollars.

The difference is Oregon has a major city that cancels out the rural vote and Kansas does not.
Wow. So untrue.

Do you have the faintest clue how that 100 million dollars taken from the pockets of Oregonians hurts?

You act as if it's "free money" that nobody worked for and it's just free for the spending.

Do you have the numbers to prove he is wrong? Just on his estimates they sound pretty accurate when designing an intensive website like this.
