The problem is the client he is taking on and representing, in what would obviously be a successful outspoken women is being all together selfish in not recognizing there are other girls in the world besides herself.

Yours is a typical GOP response, and ultimatly it will cost your party in the women's vote.
Again.

Huckabee is a fool. I hope he's your candidate. I really do.

He use's conscience instead of wisdom. That's the problem, a lack of understanding in the issues of progress and their connection's with value. He assumes in almost everything people are worried unconsciously with respects to their conscience and then use's it to guess what ? not reach the left, but stir the right into thinking he has !

So trying to prevent an unwanted pregnancy by choosing the birth control route is not responsible?

Maybe Huckabee's just being the garden variety RWingnut idiot.

He thinks he's in a pulpit every time the camera comes on. Its just an info-mercial, a rally type of approach.

You can try to make that stick, but I deliberately used the whole stupid quote so his words can speak for themselves.

See, the thing is, the you yammer against access to birth control, whether it's through insurance co-pays ot public health clinics, then yammer against the other alternative...abortion. If a woman chooses neither, you yammer against TANF. Ask Sarah Palin how abstinence only worked for Bristol.

Huckabee's statement shows how ignorant some in the GOP continue to be regarding women's issues. They think providing access to birth control somehow says the gubmit thinks you can't control your libido.

Utter nonsense. It's about being responsible.

And there's no twisting of his words involved here. It was a stupid, ignorant statement.

Here's a great idea.. let's school republicans on "controlling our Libido" and call for EVERY Republican's wife to "control their libido" when it comes to their husbands and refuse to have sex to demonstrate how we can control our libidos.. LOL

That would be a hoot!

Huckabee wasn't going to give solutions to any of our national concerns...He knew well enough to keep it simplistic and irrelevant.
