So, what you are really saying is that these women are really really stupid. So stupid that they work for low wages when they could go elsewhere and make much more.

Come on. This is serious. This poor grown, adult woman who bounces around in a skimpy outfit flashing pom poms "cheering" for a pro team in front of the male fans and a slim chance for a sliver of exposure on TV needs more money.......Making money is obviously the reason she wanted that "cheerleading" job....

One of my friends married one of those "cheerleaders", from arguably the most famous of the cheerleader teams, and it lasted about a minute. She was very beautiful and so proud she was a cheerleader, which was about the only subject she talked about. Otherwise, she couldn't but six words together in a coherent sentence. Poor thing.

It only proves there is a "job" for everyone regardless of skill set.

Yes.

If she wants to make more money in a similar profession, she can become a strip club dancer.

How about unofficial "personal appearances"?

That could be a lucrative source of income.

When I went to KU back in the late eighties the KU Cheerleaders who we played pickup basketball with at the gym were also the Chiefs cheerleaders. They made fifty bucks a game back then. Ten home games they pulled down 500 bucks. It's a part time job you do ten times a year and they have fun. Don't like it don't do it.

thats up to the cheerleaders themselves. the cheerleaders are paid by the team for official appearances and games. if the ladies want to show for supermarket openings, autograph signings, or what ever that is not on the team personal appearance schedule, more power to them. the teams usually not only approve of that, they in fact encourage it, as long as the cheerleaders do not harm the teams image.

Those weren't the type of personal appearances that Harrier had in mind.

Harrier was thinking of one on one engagements for a price.

That's what you see on TV when they have try-outs! Go Broncos!
