Objectively, this is pretty astounding. Considering how unpopular the Iraq War was at this juncture, it is downright amazing that Obama polls worse than Bush at this point in his Presidency. This is no small matter at all.
Keep in mind that the press gave Bush a free pass on Iraq (they asked no questions going in and asked no questions when we left without wmd`s) but beat Obama silly over a bad web site.
Tea party Check
Medicare check

Well you are consistent. It can't be that someone simply disagrees with his policies. Nope never, it can only be about race.
Bush used Haliburton. Big scandal for those leaning left.
Obama uses Haliburton. No big deal
Bush and Katrina . Big Scandal, Bush didn't visit soon enough, he didn't care.
Obama and the oil spill. No big deal.
Bush and deficit spending. Bad
Obama and deficit spending. Good for economy.
Bush lies. Bad
Obama lies. What he really meant was.
The list really is endless. The difference is who is making the excuses.
"Bush used Haliburton. Big scandal for those leaning left.
Obama uses Haliburton. No big deal"
And they NEVER complained when Clinton gave Haliburton its FIRST NO BID contract.
Arent these polls telephone-landline polls. Who is sitting at home watching Lawerece Welk re-runs and putting in their VCR recordings of Hee-Haw? Between firing up their oxygen generators the Tea Partiers have plenty of time to answer the phone. Gallup thought Romney was going to win.
I was doing reasonably well when Bush was President and I am doing reasonably well with Obama as President. So, on the personal front, I give them both a thumbs up.
[i can't speak for the rest of the country]
you are not unusual. people who sell plywood do well when a hurricane is predicted.
Auto body shops do well after a snow or rain storm,
People in the building trade do well after a hurricane, tornado, etc.
That doesn't mean They weren't doing well BE ORE these catastrophes.
Some are fortunate enough that whoever is President doesn't affect their livelihood.
Interesting....so it's instant gratification vs long-range prosperity. I knew when GWB inherited a surplus and I received a $300 check in the mail, there was gonna be trouble. I did watch some good films on that VCR though.
"when GWB inherited a surplus" PSST! He NEVER inherited a surplus.
Just think, Bush at 43% was after years of liberal mainstream media bashing. In contrast, with Obama's literal sycophant lapdog media, he gets a 40% and I believe that's really a affirmative action bump. If he was treated like Bush was, Obama would most likely be in the 20% range.
Clinton’s large budget surpluses also owe much to the Social Security tax on payrolls. Social Security taxes now bring in more than the cost of current benefits, and the "Social Security surplus" makes the total deficit or surplus figures look better than they would if Social Security wasn’t counted. But even if we remove Social Security from the equation, there was a surplus of $1.9 billion in fiscal 1999 and $86.4 billion in fiscal 2000. So any way you count it, the federal budget was balanced and the deficit was erased, if only for a while
Here we go again. Funny money - there was NO SURPLUS. This myth has been laughed at, proven to be false etc. countless times. Look up The Myth of the Clinton Surplus and the try to understand it.
Keep in mind that the press gave Bush a free pass on Iraq (they asked no questions going in and asked no questions when we left without wmd`s) but beat Obama silly over a bad web site.
If you think it is just a bad website, then you are truly fooled. This is something that can have an affect on millions of people lives.
