Very well written op-ed piece from a one-time admirer of Obummer. Unfortunately, she is right in that nobody is listening and nobody cares. The guy has lied his way through 5 years and hurt Americans more than any President in history. Sadly, we have 3 more years of his B.S. and lies. I think he is at a point where he can't tell the truth from the lies..

Pretty shallow writing. Lies and D.C. are co dependent. nothing new since 1915.

People are tired of the divisiveness and bullcrap. Time for a watershed moment.

I think Peggy Noonan is an excellent journalist. And she writes great speeches for Presidents. That "thousand points of light", and "a kinder, gentler nation". A great speech-writer. But just because she was critical of Sarah Palin (justifiably critical) doesn't mean that she ever supported Obama.

I think she makes some good points, but there will be many, many people listening to Obama's State of the Union Address. Hopefully, the people who work on Obama's speech will be as good as Noonan when she worked on George H W Bush's speeches.
