Not your jail not your rules. Hey why is there a rule they have to go to bed at a certain time? Let em do what they want right? I mean after all they are just criminals who have ravaged society it isn't their fault. Patriotism is crap to you.........not a shock.
Great, let's make them salute the flag for 2 hours a day, put up posters of Apartheid Joe and make them say "God bless America and thank you Joe for improving us" repeatedly for an hour. That'll teach them to love the damn country that locked them up, right?
"Ravaged society", lots of things that don't do that at all will land you in maximum security anyway.

You have to give this Sheriff Joe guy some credit here. Many people are in jail because, as children, they were never taught proper values and right vs wrong from their own parents. Proper values include respect for God, country and family and that means not defacing the flag of the United States. I am not sure I agree with this diet he came up with for the offending inmates but some degree of correction is in order to teach them to show respect. You have to give Joe some credit for trying to sincerely rehab his inmates instead of merely warehousing them like most jails do. Maybe he will keep some of them from coming back to jail.

You say you can't do whatever you want with inmates.............you don't get it. Inmates can't do whatever they want. They have rules to follow and if they don't they will get punished and they should be. They are in jail for not following rules in the first gdam place. You know laws. You do know what those are right? So you break em you get put in jail and are told what to do and if you don't do what your told you get more punishment. Of course liberals think that is being mean. Just unreal you folks are.

Make jail the worst experience of their life and yes they won't want to come back. That little nugget is lost in the liberal world of coddling everybody and making them happy so they aren't upset and everything is fair.

Patriotism is not crap. It is a value that should be taught to every American starting at a young age. They should respect and love the fact they were born into a country where even the poorest among us are better off than about 85% of the world population.

I really don't care about the inmates or some redneck Sheriff in Arizona, as far as I'm concerned they are two peas in a pod.
