Conservatives fail because some of us think social issues such as abortion, religion and gay lifestyles are relevant to the political discussion. They aren't! I wish my party would stop making them a part of the platform. They are not relevant to political discourse.
As to change....well, we are changing and not for the better. Americans are dumber, less prosperous, and have less stable family units than only one generation ago. Liberal's bigotry of low expectations weakens us, not strengthens us.
