Arizona GOP Censures Sen. John McCain for Supporting Issues ‘Associated With Liberal Democrats’
Quote:
PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Republican Party formally censured Sen. John McCain on Saturday, citing a voting record they say is insufficiently conservative.

The resolution to censure McCain was approved by a voice-vote during a meeting of state committee members in Tempe, state party spokesman Tim Sifert said. It needed signatures from at least 20 percent of state committee members to reach the floor for debate.

People like me didn't bother to vote because the party wasn't far right enough.

All part of the process of the Republican party implosion. Purge everyone who doesn't think exactly like you. Pretty soon you'll be able to hold your national conventions in a pup tent.

And yet, you have the unmitigated gall to whine incessantly about direction in which the country is going?

So real conservatives didn't vote, allowed Obama to be elected, and complain about Obama incessantly.

The Arizona GOP needs to clean house and get rid of the Tea Party types. The censure didnt serve any purpose other than to show people in Arizona and across the country that Arizona still has a Tea Party problem. Trouble with going to look for the Tea Party in Arizona they have ran away from the label. Last year they called themselves the United Republican Alliance of Principled Conservatives. Now they just call themselves the Alliance of Principled Conservatives. They are going after anyone that supported Medicaid expansion. You have to love the hypocrisy of these "Conservatives" when they talk about a government takeover of health care since almost everyone is on a government health care plan.

Censure!
